Just back from a weekend in Kotor, Montenegro. A stunningly beautiful place made even more magical by the plentiful cats. Although they are strays, they are well cared for and generally healthy. Just need a bit more widespread neutering. One particular cheeky kitten very nearly came home with me! 🐈 🐈‍⬛

I am often asked what the number one thing is to train a new puppy. My answer is simple: forget training and focus on socialisation. Having a puppy that is well adjusted to the sights, smells and sounds of the world around them, that is used to a range of people, animals, vehicles and experiences takes precedence over everything. Yes EVERYTHING! Of course basic obedience training basic is important, but a puppy that is well socialised and confident in their environment will be in a much better place to learn.
