Problem Behaviour Towards People
Does your dog growl or bark at visitors? Do they act possessively around their food and toys or have they lunged at a family member?
If this sounds like your dog, then you are in the right place and I can help.
It may be that your dog is adorable and as soft as anything 99% of the time. But that 1% when they may be growling, barking or lunging at people is really concerning.
Perhaps you dread the doorbell ringing and put off having a friend around because you are worried about your dog’s behaviour. Maybe your dog has lunged at you when you have gone to taken a toy off them or when you lift their food bowl for cleaning. You may be keeping particular family members away from your dog as you don’t feel that they are safe.
Any situation where your dog has shown these behaviours towards people is really upsetting. You may be left wondering will they do it again? Will it get worse?
There is so much conflicting advice out there on the internet that it is difficult to know what to do for the best and what may make the situation worse. But this is where I come in…

Behaviour Support Package
I take a holistic approach to understanding dog behaviour, considering not only the dog’s natural instincts and past experiences but also the environmental factors that may be influencing their actions. This allows me to develop a personalised behaviour modification plan that’s tailored to meet the unique needs of each dog.
This is what I can offer you:
Communication with you and your vet to gather as much information as possible about your dog prior to our first meeting.
Analysis of all information collected and any video footage of the problem behaviours so that I can fully prepare for the consultation.
An in-person consultation at your home where we can explore the behaviour issue in more detail, identify possible causes and discuss ways forward. Typically lasts 90 minutes.
A detailed written report outlining all that we discussed in the consultation and with a practical step by step Behaviour Plan for you to follow at home.
Bespoke guidance using ethical methods, based on up-to-date scientific research.
A compassionate understanding of the issues you are facing with your dog and practical techniques to help you address them.
Two 30 minute follow-up sessions, either in person or telephone, to guide you in implementing the Behaviour Plan and address any issues. Usually held 3 and 6 weeks after the consultation.
Direct WhatsApp support for 12 weeks after the consultation, for quick guidance at the time when you need it.
A summary report sent directly to your vet for a co-ordinated approach to your dog’s care.
Completion of any paperwork needed for insurance claims.
Investment: £480
Please note that you may be able to claim for behaviour support on your pet insurance if you have been referred by your vet. Please check this with your insurance provider.
